The Axe & Cleaver a traditional village pub is located in the large village of North Somercotes on the Lincolnshire east coast. The pub was built in the late 1930s to replace the old Axe & Cleaver which originally stood on the crossroads.

Now a Freehouse under local ownership, the Axe & Cleaver has been refurbished and returned to its former self. We are proud to serve quality beers and food with a warm welcome to families, diners and drinkers alike in our three bars and two dining areas. Our new outdoor food & drink area is table heated. Food at the Axe & Cleaver is fresh, homemade and cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients.
